Prof. Soeparwi Animal Hospital has held Continuing Professional Development (CPD), CPD Fish Medicine # 1 is held on July 6-7 2018 which was attended by 34 veterinarians from various regions such as Medan, Lampung, Banten, DKI, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Bali, South Sulawesi, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and Jogjakarta. CPD Fish Medicine #1 activity is held for 2 days of activities, namely 1 day of delivering theoretical material inclass activity on July 6 and a day of practice activity on July 7.
The CPD activity was attended by 2 speakers, namely Dr. Linda Thjin, an experienced veterinary practitioner in Aquatic, she is working at Sea World Ancol Jakarta and Singapore Aquarium, Singapore and Dr. Slamet Raharjo, MP., From the Department of Internal Medicine FVM UGM who is also a veterinarian practitioner especially in the exotic and aquatic animals. The delivery of theories activities about fish as well as techniques for restrain, physical examination, disease, diagnosis and treatment techniques. In this activity, techniques for understanding and management of environment and freshwater were also delivered.
Practical activities are filled with anesthesia, examination sampling, laparotomy and necropsy practices. Practical activities were guided directly by2 speakers and the Prof. Soeparwi Animal Hospital team.
